This CD was first published in 2016 and has since then proved to be of great assistance to both gemmology students and also to professionals. It emphasise the importance of having the instrument set up correctly in conjunction with suitable lighting in order to achieve a clear sharp visible absorption spectrum particularly from a faceted gemstone.
The CD contains an animated Microsoft PowerPoint Slide Show which can be controlled by the viewer This enables back tracking to repeat the sequence of the animated images in order to achieve full comprehension
